Build

The Baxi 600 Combi boiler range is built to last. Unlike all other plastic boilers in the market, they have more brass in them. Specifically, Baxi included brass hydraulics that will survive the test of time.

Despite all boilers coming in white, we have to appreciate the effort put into their design. The top glossy finish is sublime, and the curves are satisfying. We particularly liked how all of them have their controls embedded into the casing. It gives the boilers a neat look.

All of the boilers are compact and can easily fit inside a standard kitchen cupboard. Additionally, all of them have their pipework neatly tucked inside their casing. We have to admit, their overall presentation is praiseworthy.

Fuel and efficiency

We assure you that all Baxi 600 combi boilers have a minimum efficiency rating of 93%. Additionally, they’re all ErP A-rated for both central heating and hot water production.

By default, they’re certified for British gas and the 20 hydrogen blend. Nonetheless, some models have additional LPG versions for those whose property is off the national gas grid.

Power output rating

The Baxi 600 combi boiler range includes the 24kWs, 30kWs, and 36kWs models. Indeed, there is something for everyone.

The Baxi 624 is the smallest and least powerful combi boiler. It offers a minimum max output of 24kWs for both central heating and hot water production. Additionally, it has a 10.2 litres per minute hot water flow rate. It’s ideal for small households with 1 bathroom and up to 10 radiators.

The Baxi 630 is the middle-born. It offers a minimum max output rating of 30kW for both central heating and hot water production. Because of its hot water flow rate of 12.2 litres per minute, it’s ideal for most medium-size homes with up to 2 bathrooms and 15 radiators, at most.

Finally, we have the Baxi 636 combi boiler. It’s the most powerful in the range. With a max output rating of 36kW, it can serve larger households with more than 2 bathrooms, and 20 radiators. Additionally, its hot water flow rate of 15 litres per minute puts a smile on our faces.

Installation and servicing

All Baxi 600 combi boilers are user and installer-friendly. They even come with wall brackets, so you don’t have to spend more on other accessories.

Additionally, all of them boast of the Easy-Fill filling loop that makes it easier to re-pressure your unit. This is important since most boiler owners are likely to face a low boiler pressure problem at one point in their lifetime.

Finally, all Baxi 600 boilers offer extensive flow options and compatibility features that make their installation easier and flexible.
